Mixing Instructions

Add Reef Crystals gradually to purified RO/DI water while circulating until fully dissolved.

Measure the salinity using a calibrated refractometer and adjust to the requirements of your aquarium. For most coral aquariums, a target salinity of 35 ppt (SG approximately 1.026) is recommended.

Always ensure the newly prepared water is fully mixed, clear and at a suitable temperature before introducing it into an established aquarium.

Never add dry salt directly to an aquarium containing livestock.
