D-D Funktion WAVE Pump Series

£83.00

The D-D Funktion WAVE Pump Series is a controllable range of compact wave pumps designed to create natural, powerful and adjustable water movement in marine, reef, freshwater and aquascaped aquariums.

With a discreet puck-style design and included digital controller, these pumps help improve circulation, reduce dead spots, keep detritus suspended, and provide corals with the flow they need for better health and growth. The wide-flow output makes them suitable for a range of aquarium setups, from smaller soft coral systems through to larger, high-flow reef aquariums.

The controller allows you to adjust the flow and choose from different operating modes, including constant flow, wave mode, pulse mode, storm mode and feed mode. This gives you better control over the movement inside your aquarium depending on your livestock, coral type, rockwork and tank size.

Available models in this series:

The FPW3000 model provides up to approximately 3,000 L/H of flow with around 7.5W power consumption. This model is best suited for smaller aquariums and nano reef systems, generally around 45–75 cm in length.

The FPW4000 model provides up to approximately 4,000 L/H of flow with around 10W power consumption. This model is best suited for small to medium aquariums, generally around 60–90 cm in length.

The FPW10000 model provides up to approximately 10,000 L/H of flow with around 20W power consumption. This model is best suited for medium to larger aquariums, generally around 90–150 cm in length, especially where stronger reef circulation is required.

The FPW13000 model provides up to approximately 13,000 L/H of flow with around 30W power consumption. This model is best suited for larger reef aquariums, generally around 120–180 cm+ in length, SPS systems, or tanks requiring strong, wide water movement.

Key features include adjustable flow control, multiple wave modes, feed mode, digital controller, magnetic mounting system, compact design, low voltage operation, quiet performance and energy-efficient running.

For best results, avoid pointing the pump directly at sensitive corals. Larger aquariums, SPS-heavy systems, or tanks with heavy rockwork may benefit from using two pumps on opposite sides to create more balanced and natural circulation throughout the aquarium.
