Euphyllia glabrescens (Holy Grail) - A3 - WYSWG
Euphyllia glabrescens is a species of large-polyp stony (LPS) coral commonly known as the Torch Coral. It is popular in the marine aquarium hobby for its vibrant colors, long flowing tentacles, and dynamic movement in water flow. Among Euphyllia species, E. glabrescens has some of the longest sweeper tentacles, which it uses to defend territory. These tentacles can deliver a powerful sting to nearby corals. Torch Coral come in a wide range of stunning color variants. It can be a showpiece coral in any reef tank.
Care in Aquariums:
- Lighting: Low to Moderate.
- Water Flow: Low to Moderate.
- Placement: Middle to bottom of the tank, with room for tentacle extension.
Feeding: primarily photosynthetic, relying on their symbiotic zooxanthellae, but it can be supported by supplemental feeding (1–2x/week) with meaty foods like: mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, reef roids or coral-specific frozen blends.
